Been a while since last post. Current project to is a new 14th century Timurid empire disked bell tent. Based on an illumination of a tent in yellow and blue. Mine will be is red and yellow. 10ft diameter and 8ft tall.

A 14th century Timurid disk bell tent based off data from Peter Alford Andrews book Felt Tents & Pavillions.
8ft in diameter & 6 ft tall. The painted designs are from a larger style disked bell tent from the same location & era as the smaller soldier tents. I chose a Sufi poem around the edge in kufic script rather than a passage from the Quran. #tent #sca #TimuridEmpire #weirdo #nerd #NomadicArchitecture
