I know that it's asking a lot, but I wish that we held politicians and the parties they espouse to a code of honesty, competence, and to minimum standards of work for us and for their constituents. That we insisted that they took no second (or third or fourth or fifth...) jobs. That any lobbying was transparent and out in the open. And that "donations" are outlawed except for trivial items like pens and desk pads. #TheyWorkForUs

Get rid of things that the private sector can (and SHOULD) handle. Trim the fat on many programs. Make education valuable again.
