A small instance in Manatee County, Florida
Each #Mastodon instance locally stores content in the file storage and the #PostgreSQL database. This local storage can grow quickly. We have 11 users, 3 users who post and interact daily. We have had this instance running since ~DEC-20. #TheVerze current files storage use is 27GB
One current issue with single user #Mastodon instances is the large amount of storage necessary.

If you are in the EU, you might experience some latency problems as packets cross the pond :)
I will let you know more once we do some further analysis. We very much support #Mastodon and the #Fediverse, but #Mastodon does require a fair amount of resources. This is especially the case with storage.
