Sicilianews24.it: Nuove opportunità per i giovani con la Croce Rossa di Lampedusa e Linosa

Anche quest’anno si aprono nuove opportunità per i giovani delle isole di Lampedusa e Linosa che desiderano mettersi al servizio della comunità. Il comitato locale della Croce Rossa Italiana parteciperà infatti, per il secondo anno consecutivo, al programma del Servizio Civile Universale, grazie al finanziamento della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri.
Complessivamente saranno disponibili 15 posti per giovani volontari che potranno impegnarsi per dodici mesi nelle attività della Croce Rossa sul territorio, contribuendo al supporto dei servizi sanitari e sociali nelle due isole.

New opportunities for young people with the Red Cross of Lampedusa and Linosa.

This year, new opportunities are opening up for young people from the islands of Lampedusa and Linosa who wish to serve the community. The local committee of the Italian Red Cross will participate, for the second consecutive year, in the National Civil Service program, thanks to funding from the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

A total of 15 places will be available for young volunteers who can commit for twelve months to the Red Cross activities on the territory, contributing to the support of healthcare and social services in the two islands.

Ancora una volta il comitato di Caltanissetta della Croce Rossa Italiana risulta ente finanziato da parte della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri per l’espletamento del Servizio Civile Universale. Grande soddisfazione per il comitato di Caltanissetta, diretto dalla Presidente Santina Sonia Bognanni, per l’approvazione di ben otto progetti, per un totale di ventotto posti messi a bando ed espletabili presso la Croce Rossa Italiana di Caltanissetta, nelle varie sedi cittadine, per attività di supporto all’ente per dodici mesi.
Chi sceglie di impegnarsi nel Servizio Civile Nazionale sceglie di aggiungere un’esperienza qualificante al proprio bagaglio culturale, arricchendosi sia da un punto di vista professionale che umano. Parte integrante del Programma è infatti anche l’introduzione dei giovani al mondo del lavoro, alle sue regole e ai suoi orari, e spesso l’esperienza del Servizio Civile rappresenta una tappa preziosa nel percorso formativo e professionale dei giovani che vi partecipano.

Agi: Cinque morti sospette in ambulanza, indagato operatore della Croce Rossa

AGI- È stata disposta l’autopsia sull’ultima paziente deceduta nel Forlivese dopo un trasporto in ambulanza. A bordo del mezzo di soccorso era presente un operatore sanitario di 27 anni, oggi indagato per omicidio volontario.
La Croce Rossa Italiana ha fatto sapere di essersi “messa subito a disposizione delle forze dell’ordine e delle autorità competenti per collaborare alle indagini” e di aver sospeso in via cautelativa il 27enne non appena appresa la notizia. L’associazione precisa inoltre che l’operatore, già nei giorni successivi all’avvio delle verifiche, non era più in servizio.
L’indagine della Procura di Forlì per omicidio volontario
L’uomo è indagato a piede libero dalla Procura della Repubblica di Forlì con l’accusa di omicidio volontario per la morte di cinque pazienti deceduti durante trasporti sanitari di routine in ambulanza. I fatti riguardano episodi avvenuti tra febbraio e novembre 2025, durante o subito dopo il trasferimento da strutture di cura agli ospedali del territorio forlivese.
Ipotesi embolia e indagini dei Nas
L’inchiesta, coordinata dalla Procura e condotta dai carabinieri del Nucleo Antisofisticazioni e Sanità (Nas), è coperta dal massimo riserbo. Secondo quanto trapela da ambienti investigativi, tra le ipotesi al vaglio ci sarebbe quella di una possibile embolia come causa dei decessi.
Sui mezzi di soccorso sarebbero state installate telecamere che potrebbero aver ripreso la dinamica degli episodi. Le indagini sarebbero partite anche in seguito a segnalazioni presentate agli inquirenti, a quanto pare da colleghi dello stesso indagato.
La difesa del 27enne e l’assistenza ai familiari
Il 27enne, residente in provincia di Forlì, prestava servizio presso il comitato locale della Croce Rossa di Bertinoro e Forlimpopoli e respinge ogni accusa. I familiari delle vittime sono assistiti dagli avvocati Max Starni e Massimo Mambelli.
La Croce Rossa ribadisce che l’operatore “fin dai primi giorni successivi all’inizio delle verifiche non era in servizio” e auspica che le indagini possano “fare piena chiarezza su quanto accaduto”, ricordando l’impegno quotidiano di oltre 150mila volontarie e volontari attivi su tutto il territorio nazionale.

An autopsy has been ordered on the last deceased patient at the Forlivese hospital after transport by ambulance. A 27-year-old healthcare operator was on board the rescue vehicle and is currently under investigation for voluntary manslaughter.

The Italian Red Cross has stated that it “immediately made itself available to law enforcement and the competent authorities to collaborate with the investigation” and suspended the 27-year-old as soon as it learned of the news. The association also specifies that the operator was no longer on duty in the days following the start of the checks.

The Forlì Prosecutor’s investigation for voluntary manslaughter

The man is being investigated under house arrest by the Forlì Public Prosecutor’s Office on the charge of voluntary manslaughter for the deaths of five patients who died during routine healthcare transfers by ambulance. The incidents occurred between February and November 2025, during or immediately after transfers from care facilities to hospitals in the Forlì area.

Embolia hypothesis and investigations by Nas

The investigation, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and conducted by Carabinieri (Italian military police) from the Anti-Sophistication and Health Nucleus (Nas), is covered by the highest level of secrecy. According to information emerging from investigative sources, one of the hypotheses under consideration would be a possible embolia as the cause of the deaths.

Cameras were installed on the rescue vehicles that may have recorded the dynamics of the incidents. The investigation also began following reports submitted to investigators, reportedly by colleagues of the same suspect.

The defense of the 27-year-old and assistance to the families

The 27-year-old, who resides in the Forlì province, worked for the local branch of the Red Cross in Bertinoro and Forlimpopoli and denies all accusations. The families of the victims are being assisted by lawyers Max Starni and Massimo Mambelli.

The Italian Red Cross reiterates that the operator “was not on duty from the first days following the start of the checks” and hopes that the investigation can “fully clarify what happened,” recalling the daily commitment of over 150,000 active volunteers throughout the national territory.
