Just finished the Saturday Night version of my daily net, the BORED Net. I'm usually not the person running this one, so I forget what the vibe is like. Only 8 checkins but the net still lasted an hour. Nice.

The BORED Net's second μExpo is in the books now...holy Moses I'm tired but it was a great day.

I think this concept is ready to happen-hams getting together and just enjoying being hams. No manufacturers, no vendors, no overhead, no debt for the organizers, just hanging out with other hams.

It's fun. 2026 is already being planned...TWICE. Next Septemeber at CSUCI, and possibly a springtime event at Cal Poly SLO. Watch this space.

@arth No, but for the μExpo I am putting on next week, which is the ARRL Santa Barbara Section annual meeting, NARA *did* offer me some free memberships to give away as raffle prizes.
