State to execute Brazoria County man accused of stomping 3-month-old to death

Travis Mullis admitted to the killing in a written and videotaped confession. During his trial, defense attorneys asked jurors to consider a lesser offense for Mullis and focused on his history of mental illness that developed during his early childhood.
