Ich hab zu Weihnachten ein Mynd von #TeufelAudio bekommen.
Und ich bin schon einfach begeistert.
Es sind die kleinen Features. Akku laden nur bis 80% zur Lebenszeit Verlängerung. Wechseln können zwischen schnell laden und schonend laden.
Eigentlich simple Feature aber sie holen mich so ab.

I saw myself having to actually go and sue them into following commerce law and presenting evidence for that.

But it's ok, the misunderstanding was cleared up.

Again, I bought it 10 days ago.

Why would they refuse to take it back and say I bought it too long ago?
I am not sure the #TeufelAudio #MYND is even on the market that long?

UNBELIEVABLE

I actually like #TeufelAudio as a company, that's why I thought I could ask their support some detailed enthusiastic questions.

Instead, all I get is automated responses

I bought the #MYND 10 days ago.

I made the mistake of combining my latest questions with the statement that i would like to send it back.

All my questions were ignored.

Instead I was told, that they won't ! take it back, since it's past the legal 14 days and their 8 weeks are only if they feel like it.

Got first answer from #TeufelAudio about #MYND

A lot of "reasons could be" and "maybe" and "possibly" and not one concrete answer to my questions except the one about the deadline for sending it back.

My guess ist, a lot of that first answer, was generated with AI. Especially because it re-stated one of the things that I said in the first e-mail that was actually wrong and a support technician should have noticed that.

Let's wait on the second answer :-)

My suspicion is, that #TeufelAudio has very little control over their
Bluetooth-Audio features.

The #ATS2835P, used in the #MYND, supports neither LE-Audio nor Auracast. Party-Link uses proprietary broadcom CSB.

Presumably, they can license addon firmware modules/codes, but that's it.

Changing to ATS2835P2 would enable #Auracast, but would make it incompatible with existing MYNDs. (not a big deal)

also tested #TeufelAudio #MYND Bluetooth-Audio via Linux.

#SBC-XQ is also NOT supported. The MYND accepts the stream just fine, but stays silent. When switching back to old SBC, audio returns.

neither #LC3 nor #opus are supported.
