So a payroll person with EduStaff sent this email to my partner this morning, after recieving a complaint and a threat that we'd report this as wage theft.
Looks like the threat worked well. It IS wage theft!

Burned-out nurses who've left Canada's health-care industry in droves are now returning to the job through private agencies, and that transition is costing the public system millions of dollars every year.
Agencies are “poaching” frontline employees and charging some short-staffed homes excessive fees to replace them, jeopardizing the provincial target of four hours per resident of daily hands-on care by March 31, 2025, according to a survey released Tuesday by Advantage Ontario.
Unemployment is so low that companies must poach—which means better pay. So "they" say.
