Russian authorities are holding more than a thousand #Tajik citizens at the capital's airports, reports Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic.

"There are 954 citizens of #Tajikistan in the temporary detention zone of citizens of the Vnukovo international airport. Among the stranded citizens there are Tajik students studying in #Russia"

The day before, the MFA of the Republic advised their fellow citizens to refrain from traveling to Russia.

Marking the beginning of sowing seeds and drawing water, the festivals include ceremonies to invoke good luck and good harvest. The festivals were also included in the state intangible cultural heritage list.
