Still not 100% so not reliable enough to give it away as intended, but a quick google suggests that they have almost cult status in mixing drum machines using the natural analogue distortion/saturation, reportedly with some inter-channel effects too. So might save this #BossBX80 to play with when I finally get my #TR707 out of a storage box and on to a work surface :-)
