Algorithmic Music und Live Coding
shindig ist eine Veranstaltungsreihe mit Fokus auf experimentelle Post-Internet-Musik und zugleich ein Raum für Lernen und Austausch.
Die fünfte Ausgabe von shindig lädt TOPLAP Karlsruhe ein: Eine Initiative, die sich mit Live-Coding in elektronischer Musik und Video beschäftigt.
TOPLAP steht für Transdimensional Organisation for the Purity of Live Artistic Programming. Die Initiative wurde 2004 ins Leben gerufen und hat sich seitdem zu einem globalen Netzwerk entwickelt.
Im Projektraum könnt ihr am 21. Februar den Live-Codern beim Programmieren und Improvisieren von Musik und Visuals zusehen und zuhören – alle Code-Manipulationen und -Kreationen werden projiziert und angezeigt.
Es werden tagsüber zwei Workshops angeboten, die sich mit den Open-Source-Live-Coding-Plattformen Strudel und SuperCollider befassen.

A live-coded interpretation of the Twin Peaks main theme
(composed by Angelo Badalamenti in 1990).
It has now been one year since I started using live coding with Strudel as my main medium of expression.
Many thanks to @yaxu @strudel and all its creators and contributors ^^, and @pastagang and @superdirtspatz and to everyone who has (and still does) inspire me.
