Along a trail behind a temple in #Taipei, #Taiwan (in 2005 when digital cameras didn’t have GPS built in) I stumbled across this roughly made game board, etched in stone, with hand made game pieces, waiting for someone to play.

Xiangqi, I believe.

if anybody in the #taipei / #newtaipei / #danshui area wants a laptop to mess around. let me know. i don't really use it. don't need.

Acer Aspire S3-391. battery holds no charge (super secure!). hard drive had some bad sectors or something but works fine. i've installed nixbook on it. can watch youtube videos/browse the web. sadly, only 4gb of ram, not upgradeable :(
