Part of getting punched* in the face cancer** involves a single suture to help the site heal without a scar.
The nurse cut the tails of the suture kind of long, which I understand because you don't want it to untie and you want to be able to easily grab them to remove later on.
But, it also means I keep feeling something lightly brush my cheek... and the number of times I've now slapped myself in the face because my first thought is that it's a spider...
