Escaping the bank holiday crowds up on Ventnor Down #SundayStroll

Current scenes on my #SundayStroll. Up on Shanklin Down looking all the way from West Wight to East.

#SundayStroll at Colwell Bay on the Isle of Wight. Across the water you can see Hurst Castle (built as a fortress by Henry VIII) and Hurst Point Lighthouse.
A nice 5 mile walk completed this afternoon.
