This is what happens when menopause hits a vampire ninja!!! 🤣
My desk shades arrived!!! :D
They make SO much of a difference! No eyestrain, no headache, no sunburn on my face from the UV of the fluorescent lights and the sun coming in the giant wall of windows...
Not a bad view...
If only I could go out there without dressing like a beekeeper.!
This might be my new favorite photo of me.
It was taken today at the conference.
It is of me (the left pair of legs in black slacks) and one of the people at the conference (the person on the right whose hair is also showing) who also has the same sun issues that I do.
During the afternoon, the sliding glass wall was opened up, and sincw the venue faces west, at some point, the parasols came out.
I finally got to go swimming! In a body of water that I couldn't see the other side of!
There were some kids playing in the waves nearby, and one of them asked me why I was dressed like this. I told him that I am an alien to your planet and I am hiding my identity. He said, "Cool!" and hopped into the next wave.
HELLO, EARTH PEOPLE. I AM IN YOUR ARIDZONA. I LOOK LIKE NORMAL HUMAN, YES?
The worst thing about my condition (#pmle) is that I have to dress this way even though it is over 100° F, outside.
It sucks so much. This is why I am so gleeful when I get to be in a place that is cold. Because I'll still wear the same amount of clothing!
It is now late enough that the sun is getting kind of low, so I think I'm going to put on my burkini and hit the pool, finally.
