So it's Bonfire Night tomorrow (Sunday 5th) here in the UK. A time when we celebrate the failed attempt of a Catholic plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament many years back
(look it up if you're interested)

We celebrate it with fireworks and explosives that petrify animals and cause countless burns to those insisting on returning to lit fireworks.

We have bonfires that, if built some days before, may incinerate hedgehogs that have mistakenly chosen that pile of wood to hide under.

Surely it's time we stopped all this!

If celebrate we must., why not stick with baked potatoes, and apple bobbing.
