Ian TindaleI spent pretty much my whole day outside in the garden nearly naked under a parasol at the garden table, with an old MacBook running Linux, with external Apple keyboard and Microsoft mouse, doing a lot of writing. I wrote all the premise for an important and significant section of the story. It went well. Then the battery went low, and I’d just about finished the premise so I took it in to charge, leaving the keyboard and mouse there.
In the afternoon I took my more recent MacBook Air M2 out and plugged it into the same external keyboard and mouse there (by an Apple USB-C to USB—A socket adaptor)I started writing a section of exposition in the script, I gave names to two of the characters we haven’t seen talking before (they were there in the queue in page 1 panel 1 though) and this went on for quite a while explaining all the stuff in the premise. I finished it late in the afternoon. Good day’s work, now I need to do thumbnail sketches as storyboards for that section, then at a later point, draw each panel, then ink them, then lay them out on the page.
I like this nice warm heatwave weather, I can’t work in anything cold or horrible. This is perfect for getting work done. #NicePleasantWarmWeather #WIP #Update #StoryWriting
