I use a #KoboTouch (a.k.a. N905C or Touch C or kobo4) since 12 years now.

It's 165 × 114 × 10 [mm] with 185 g.

I never connected it to the #Kobo #bookshop for #privacy reasons. Instead, I just copied the #epub files to it.

I run two #freeSoftware #ereader apps on it: #koreader and #plato. I prefer the former, but many enjoy the latter. The builtin reader isn't entirely bad, but I strongly suggest the other options.

me estoy arruinando en mangas y quiero explorar pasar el vicio en digital. y ya tengo una buena coleccion bajada por si las moscas xD

busco recomendaciones de ebook readers con las siguientes caracteristicas:
- color. tengo algunos mangas en color, tambien comics
- 10 pulgadas
- con android / capacidad de ejecutar APKs. mi libreria esta en un servidor komga y me gustaria poder seguir usando la aplicacion komelia
- wifi

no me hacen falta:
- IA
- pantalla tactil. boton fisicos van estupendamente
- lapiz / stilus. no se dibujar. ni seria para tomar apuntes. solo leer

Könnt ihr einen guten #eBookReader empfehlen? Er soll vor allem Bücher aus der #Bibliothek ausleihen können(Onleihe?).
Nice-to-have wären ein Farbbildschirm und Abspielen von Hörbüchern aus der Bibliothek (das ist wohl nicht ohne weiteres so möglich. Meistens nur mit einem zusätzlichen Konto bei Adobe...)

Ich hab den tolino vision color im Auge. Dieser läuft aber in einer Cloud von Tolino, was mich erstmal abschreckt. Laufen alle Reader in einer eigenen Cloud?

Binaries are almost ready. AppImage already built, Flatpak is also mostly functional, except on KDE, the desktop entry has no icon for some reason, will have to figure out, why is that the case (a bit weird, it isn't the case on GNOME, only on KDE).

Habe mich noch nie mit eBook Reader-APPs fürs Tabet auseinandergesetzt.
Klar könnte ich jetzt das Netz durchforsten, doch ich bin mir sicher hier im Fediverse gibt es einige Menschen die sich da richtig gut auskennen. Schließlich ist die Bücher und Lese Bubble sehr groß und present.📚

Allerdings ist es mit einer APP noch nicht getan. Interessant sind auch Bezugsquellen. Also digitale Buchläden aber auch Abos sind OK.

Natürlich ist der Kopierschutz auch ein wichtiges Thema. Mir ist egal ob die Bücher und Comics geschützt sind, wichtig ist nur das die Reader APP, diese anzeigen kann.

Datenschutz, Privatsphäre und FOSS wäre super.

Wichtig sind mir Comics und Bücher, um sie auf meinem Android Tablet zu lesen.
