The game publisher Storybrewers has a new game, Castles in the Air, that looks very cool, alas it's not designed for solo.

You play as young people in the 1800s who share their dreams and have adventures. Then jump ahead in time and see how things break and/or come together.

The art direction is really great.

A solo game in a similar vein would be a lot of fun.

9. My favourite #TTRPG for its writing is... Hmmm, that's a hard one as there are so many. But rather than go with some obvious contenders, I think I'll give a shout out to #AlasForTheAwfulSea by Hayley Gordon and Vee Hendro from #Storybrewers. It's probably the first #PBTA game I liked, and it's very well written. It's also a great game with tools you can bring into any game, and you should absolutely check it out:

Alas for the Awful Sea

Alas for the Awful Sea is a story focused roleplaying game set in a a grim world of suspicion, sadness, and desperation. A roleplaying game of myth, mystery, and the complexity of the human heart.

Got to play The Fictional Memoirs Of Harriette Wilson And Her Sisters, an incredible game about retired Regency-era courtesans blackmailing their former lover/clients. Does a fantastic job of producing salacious and emotional interconnections and drama while smoothly handling safety and potentially sensitive subject matter https://storybrewersroleplaying.com/the-fictional-memoirs-of-harriette-wilson-and-her-three-sisters/?v=6cc98ba2045f #ttrpgs #StoryBrewers

@epistolaryrichard I'm going to put in my bid for #StoryBrewers, publishers of #GoodSociety. A Jane Austen #ttrpg certainly isn't for everyone, but the designers nail it with a game that skillfully iterates the source material and allows for seemingly endless replayability. They publish several expansions for the game, adding in e.g. magic and swashbuckling if that's your thing. Totally deserve more attention than they get.
