#Jupiter's Great Red Spot is a swirling, oval-shaped #StormSystem that's been observed on Jupiter for over 300 years. It's the largest storm in the solar system and the most recognizable feature on Jupiter's visible cloud surface.
The Great Red Spot is about 10,159 miles wide, which is twice the width of Earth, and is located 22 degrees south of Jupiter's equator.
Severe storms are expected to move through the Houston-area Thursday, accompanied by potential high winds, isolated tornadoes and hail in areas north of Houston.
