Israel is driving civilians out of Gaza City at gunpoint. Hospitals bombed. Homes flattened. Families forced south into overcrowded death traps. This isn’t “security.” This isn’t “self-defence.” It’s annihilation.

And New Zealand government? Stop pretending we’re clean. You are complicit.

You blacklist Hamas wholesale, but you can’t bring yourself to name Israel’s crimes — war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide.

You slap token sanctions on two cartoon fascists (Ben-Gvir, Smotrich) while the entire Israeli state machine wages collective punishment on 2 million civilians.

You wave $37m in “humanitarian aid” like hush money, while refusing to condemn the bombs that made the rubble in the first place. Aid doesn’t wash blood off your hands.

You hide behind the ICJ and ICC — “let the courts decide” — as if international bureaucracy will comfort a child buried alive in a collapsed school. That’s spineless cowardice dressed up as diplomacy.

You still trade: NZ imported US$178 million of Israeli goods in 2024, much of it high-tech, dual-use hardware. Blood-soaked kit, flowing into our ports.

You exported US$16m back — wine, pharmaceuticals, electronics — smiling, shaking hands, “business as usual” while Gaza starved.

You bought bomb-clearing robots from Israeli firm Roboteam in 2019. Our Defence Force has not ruled out buying Israeli-made drones. Direct military links. No denying it. Why?

You keep hosting Israeli diplomats, playing nice in the halls of Wellington, while Israel bulldozes entire neighbourhoods and commits countless war crimes. Why?

This is not “small trade.” This is not neutrality. This is enabling. Every dollar exchanged, every contract signed, every polite silence is complicity.

New Zealand Government: stop polishing your halo, stop pretending you’re bystanders. Admit it. You are enabling a genocidal state.

And don’t think history will let you off. It doesn't work like that. History and the people will remember the excuses the blood and the children.

So explain yourself!

Palestine - some good news: in the harbor of Antwerp, Belgium is a ship with parts for Israeli tanks. Four local ngo's have managed to get a case in front of a court, the ship is now not allowed to leave. Nor are any other ships with goods for military use for israel.

The government will probably appeal this, but any delay is a victory. We can stop the war machine.

In de Vlaamse regering heerst onenigheid over het beroep tegen het verbod op de doorvoer van militair materieel naar Israël. Dat verbod had de Brusselse kortgedingrechter eerder vandaag opgelegd, samen met een uitvoerverbod op een container met kegelrollagers met bestemming Israël. De rechter stelt dat de overheid meer moet doen om containers richting het land te controleren. Het kabinet van Vlaams minister-president Matthias Diependaele (N-VA) heeft vragen bij de gegrondheid van het vonnis, maar Vooruit-ministers Melissa Depraetere en Caroline Gennez vinden dat Vlaanderen alles moet doen om de doorvoer van wapens naar Israël te blokkeren en vragen om het beroep van de Vlaamse regering weer in te trekken.
