Saint Piran's Day, or the Feast of Saint Piran, is the national day of Cornwall, held on 5 March. Saint Piran is one of the patron saints of Cornwall, as well as being the patron saint of tin miners.

I'm a bit late with this β the flag of St Piran, patron saint of Cornwall and of tin miners, pictured flying on the harbour wall of Mousehole.
Remember taking this photograph last June and thinking that I'd keep it to post on the feast day of St Piran, the national day of Cornwall.
Unfortunately that was yesterday and I forgot β still, better late than never!
