David AllanMust admit, I was quite taken to see that Mousehole Rock Pool in West Cornwall has been restored since I last visited.
Created in the 1960s, the first time I walked past some years ago, I almost missed it due to the neglect and erosion that had taken place down the years.
Sited near the water's edge, the pool is naturally filled at each high tide.
The once popular pool had seen generations of children enjoying their first swimming lessons.
So full marks to the local interest that has resulted in restoring this outdoor seaside attraction.
