Are there any good tools for modeling in blender with equal sized faces? Iโ€™m not exactly sure if my terminology is right, but I want something kind of like Sprytile but less opinionated.

I am trying to build a level mesh and I donโ€™t want to hand texture each face, and I want to use trimsheets.

HD textures scaled down to 64x64 using the nearest neighbor (top) and trilinear (bottom) filtering.
Nearest neighbor has that old school psx look, but both have their uses.

with faces being mapped to a square texture.
Sprytile has more uses then just tiling.

Undersea Friendos - 3D model by ZeroByte

The finalized scene of the Undersea Friendos (wip)! This is a low poly pixel art diorama created with a single 128x128 texture. Built in Blender with help from my Sprytile addon, a tool for helping create art in this style. I changed the colors of the characters around to balance the palette between the three of them. In the process I found a really amazing looking purple crab native to the Philippines and chose to base my colors off. I also redid the rock, it was really tricky given the texture limitations I was working with. Iโ€™m still not completely happy with it, but itโ€™s good enough for this go around. Trying to recreate the first area of FFT:A in #sprytile, starting with the buildings

Done V1 of my #Sprytile #tileset, I'm going to make a examples package and tweak it. I'll see if I can add some #3D assets as well in the end product.

NOTE 1: You need to follow the uploading instructions carefully and add padding to your tileset if you have bleed issues.

NOTE 2: Also, if your file doesn't upload at all it's corrupted and you have to start over.

There are small details, I should take detail notes and compile it in a zine.
