tengo opiniones duras respecto a la eficiencia y uso equipamiento de bajos recursos. soy minimalista porque sí y porque me ayuda con el déficit de atención. odio el consumismo y todo lo derivado del mismo.
así que, si vas a hablarme de tu nuevo pc, de los 2 tb que tienes en tu pc ocupados con 100 peliculas podrí'as, los 1000 juegos que tienes en steam y no juegas, tus servidores en producción comprados con la pasta que te sobra y la mierda de movil que te compraste para jugar a videojuegos, múdate a /dev/null

@imabuddha @mdhughes to me it seems odd to make a quirky handheld like the #PlayDate to begin with.
At a price point of $199 + taxes, customs and shipping, this thing is $20 below the #AnaloguePocket and since #PricesSetExpectations, it feels like a bad value proposition.

It just feels like one of these Raspberry Pi Zero Clones that come with neither good documentation nor software support, and I wounder how they even got enough backers to make it.
- Granted I'm not the target audience and I guess the "Bass Fishing Controller" memes already exist...
Personally, I think for the specs and the type of games possible on that screen, even $99 would be a hard sale...
- $49 would've been an option if this had like a vibrant ecosystem like the #GameBoy...
- But hey maybe I'm critical of it because I never had played with one nor know anyone in person who owns one... Others seem to like it tho…
JamesTDGDid some pixel art today, it was some dithering practice. Remind me in the future that dithering takes FOREVER to do manually.

For the last while I have been torturing myself making these HD beauts. I probably won't be making commissions of HD pixel art characters unless there's enough interest though... (as there's not a whole lot that will make a poor man opt to risk his sanity more than cash)

Relegated Relic Redux collab entry
Lospec at the moment is hosting a new collaboration called Relegated Relic Redux, you essentially recreate an old piece someone else made from when they were first getting into Pixel art. This shows both the original that I loosely referenced and my take on it. I honestly think that transition just felt like the perfect way to see how the 2 pieces divert. Credit to Jibs Jerky for the original.
So, I got a bit annoyed looking at my archives, specifically an old work of mine from just before lockdown. Check the comments to find the OG.
