Something Else from the Move is a five-track live EP by the English pop band the Move, released on 21 June 1968 through Regal Zonophone. The Move established themselves with a series of singles that reached the top-five in the UK singles chart, generating hype for an album. After rumours about a live LP began circulating, the Move's manager Tony Secunda pitched an idea about recording an EP of live performances at the Marquee Club in central London.

Reflecting the Move's setlist on stage, Something Else from the Move is exclusively made up of covers of songs by contemporary pop bands such as Love and 1950s singers such as Eddie Cochran. The EP has an eclectic blend between rockabilly and psychedelic music. - Wikipedia

Loved these sampler LPs when I discovered them going cheap in charity shops in the 80s! Discovered lots of life long musical loves such as Nick Drake through them.

This is a marriage - a decent sleeve with a decent VG+ vinyl to make a pretty good copy. The vinyl and sleeve belong to the same release, original 1969 magenta gatefold sleeve, pink Island labels. It’s a good album, and very typical of Island releases at the time. A great label with some visionary signings. #SpookyTwo von #SpookyTooth erschien im März 1969 und gilt als wichtigstes Werk der Band. Produziert von Jimmy Miller, erreichte das Album Platz 44 der US-Billboard-Charts und Platz 48 in Kanada. „Better by You, Better than Me“ wurde später durch Judas Priest bekannt. „Evil Woman“ entstand während einer langen nächtlichen Session. Kurz nach dem Album verließ Bassist Greg Ridley die Band.

Well Garry Wright is that artist for me. Only discovered him a few months ago although I must've heard Dream Weaver on #AM #Radio hundreds of times growing up. Driving home from work recently and #LoveIsAlive came on the radio and I was just captivated! It reached my soul! Did a deep dive on Mr. Wright. Didn't care much for his other solo work but found out he was a member of #SpookyTooth and wrote #BetterByYouBetterThanMe which was covered by #JudasPriest
