This one was fun to do. The result is still of a piece with the simple caveman noises I generally make, but the workflow is one I haven't used before. I made it with Harsh Digital Nose, Noisetar, and EZ Drummer 3 in Reaper. I mapped and filtered the MIDI inputs so I could play all three VSTs simultaneously on my cheap little 32-key controller and do it all in one take. All the distortion slamming into the limiter ended up compressing things such that the kick acted almost like a mute when the synths got going, which I enjoyed.
