Had to say goodbye to our little buddy today. Little guy was fighting with lymphoma and even got it to go into remission last year. Unfortunately it came back more aggressive this year and attacked his lungs. He crossed over the Rainbow Bridge peacefully in his sleep on his own terms.

One of my supervisors very politely asked me to let them lay on the guest bed in my home office.
She stood up on her hind legs to reach the top of the bed, looked at me, and then looked at the bed. She did it twice.
I went and got a dog blanket so the bed wouldn’t get covered in dog hair.
As soon as I placed the dog blanket on the bed, my supervisor jumped on the bed, laid down, sighed, and went to sleep.
