BonoboI’m not a good review writer — and I don’t usually read Fantasy but have been an avid SF reader for the past 62 years; I only bought #Spiderlight because I’m a huge fan of #Adrian_Tchaikovsky’s SF works, so I just wanted to give it a try.
So … I just want to say that I haven’t had this much fun with a fantasy novel since I read #Fritz_Leiber’s stories around #Fafhrd and the #Gray_Mouser 🙂 Strongly recommended!

I absolutely love the way this book treats rules and convictions. And how Nth is a fundamental violation of the absolutes in the casts' worldview. Nth also provides a true "other" perspective with the way his form is foreign to both himself and rest of the party. There's a lot more themes and questions like free will, prejudice, and the way "good" and "evil" are rationalized by individuals and institutions to mean "us" and "them".
