#vim #neovim
@cryptomilk #neovim have some great distributions but I still think that if you want to start with Neovim, start with creating your own config. Because it'll force you to not only use it but also learn it π.
trying to update #SpaceVim and it's being a pain (I hadn't updated since they changed the repo location, so I was still on 1.x), now I can't seem to get Coc working. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Fediverse,
if you are a #NeoVim/ #Vim user and use it as your IDE, how do you manage your configuration? Are you doing everything from scratch by yourself, or are you using a distribution/script like #AstroVim, #NvChad, #Spacevim, any other?
As of now, I use NeoVim but with my old VimScript style config from Vim. As some thinks broke, thinking about switching to a different way of managing my NeoVim configuration and probably switching to Lua for this, but am lazy doing everything by hand!
@haskman #LazyVim looks really nice. If I weren't already so far down the rabbit hole with #SpaceVim, I'd be giving it a shot.
I've found that it splits the difference nicely. There's a lot less config to do to get it to a nice state, but I can still get way down into the weeds for anything hyper-specific I "need"
Anyone out there who uses #vim #emacs or more specifically #spacevim .. What suggestions do you have for syncing with your android phone (or google calander)? I found quite a few ways but all feel rather hackish to me, wondering if anyone has an elegant solution out there.
Right now im considering using taskwarrior as a middle man and syncing between org and taskwarrior and then syncing up taskwarrior with either google calander or my android directly.
