Mit Arch Linux hat Microsoft eine weitere Linux-Distribution in den hauseigenen Software-Store aufgenommen. Pikanterweise handelt es sich dabei allerdings um eine nicht offiziell autorisierte Variante, die zudem noch externe, ungeprüfte Repositorien einbindet.
