Journeys in Film notes with sadness the passing of Robert Redford. As the founder of the Sundance Institute and co-founder of the Sundance Film Festival, he inspired generations of artists and expanded the boundaries of cinema in the U.S. and around the world for over four decades.

We will miss his love for the creative process and we are grateful for his enormous contribution to the worlds of filmmaking, independent film, and social impact entertainment. Thank you to everyone in the global film community who carries on his work and vision.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues.
