What is the EU doing to keep society on board with Climate policy, you may ask.
I’ll mention here the recently agreed Social Climate Fund of up to €65billion plus Member State resources for 2026-2032.
It will help vulnerable households, micro-enterprises and transport users)
(It’s more than €80 billion once MS money gets added but of course MS should do national policies too!)

A majority of the Members of the European Parliament gave their final approval on the results of the trilogues on the European Emissions Trading System (ETS) and Social Climate Find (SCF). The reform will incentivise the energy and industrial sectors to fully decarbonize.
