(Adnkronos) - “Basta fare una buona legge per affrontare questo tema? Il vero problema resta applicarla nelle scuole e nelle famiglie”. Lo ha detto il deputato Luciano Ciocchetti, vicepresidente della XII Commissione affari sociali della Camera dei deputati nel suo intervento alla Maratona del Bullismo 2026 organizzata dall'Osservatorio Nazionale sul bullismo e sul disagio giovanile al palazzo dell'Informazione dell'Adnkronos. Ricordando le leggi già in vigore dal 2017 e aggiornate poi negli ultimi anni, Ciocchetti ha sottolineato la necessità di azioni pratiche. “Credo che abbiamo una legislazione molto avanzata. Le norme che abbiamo approvato soprattutto in questa legislatura con la legge 70 nel 2024 e quella di Caivano nel 2023 parlano anche del ruolo della scuola, fondamentale in questo fenomeno”, ha sottolineato il deputato. È proprio grazie alla legge del 2024 che è stata istituita il 20 gennaio la giornata del rispetto in ricordo di Willy Monteiro Duarte, ucciso a Colleferro per aver difeso i suoi amici. “Penso che le leggi le abbiamo fatte tutte. Ora abbiamo fatto un grande lavoro e mettere insieme il mondo della scuola e quello del sociale per cercare di far comprendere che il rispetto degli altri è la cosa essenziale”. Tra le azioni introdotte dal Ministero dell’istruzione, oltre alle linee guida sull’educazione civica e sociale, c’è la “Piattaforma Elisa”, strumento per offrire formazione agli operatori nelle scuole.

The real problem remains applying it in schools and families.” This was stated by Deputy Luciano Ciocchetti, Vice President of the XII Commission for Social Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies, during his speech at the 2026 Anti-Bullying Marathon organized by the National Observatory on Bullying and Youth Discomfort at the Adnkronos Information Building. Recalling existing laws since 2017 and subsequently updated in recent years, Ciocchetti emphasized the need for practical actions. “I believe we have very advanced legislation. The rules we approved, especially in this legislature with Law 70 in 2024 and the Caivano law in 2023, also address the role of the school, which is fundamental in this phenomenon,” the deputy stated. It is thanks to the 2024 law that the Day of Respect was established on January 20th in memory of Willy Monteiro Duarte, who was killed in Colleferro for defending his friends. “I think we have made all the laws. Now we have done a great job and bringing together the world of schools and the world of social services to try to make it clear that respect for others is the essential thing.” Among the actions introduced by the Ministry of Education, in addition to guidelines on civic and social education, there is the “Elisa Platform,” a tool to provide training to operators in schools.
