I have just tested #skanlite (#foss scan app for kde linux which can be used with many scanners) for the first time! I feel like my grandpa who was the first in our family to own a flatbed scanner and he basically scanned everything and anything. Hilarious! :D

Sane ist ein kleines Monster (weil es so viel kann).

Wenn ich einfach nur irgendwas "als PDF" einscannen möchte, dann verwende ich entweder "Document Scanner" (aka simple-scan, Gnome) oder "skanlite" (KDE) oder "skanpage" (auch KDE).

@gekitsu have you tried #KDE's scanning applications as Xsane replacements? AFAICT they support a similar range of features:
- #Skanlite - a simple, but fully featured scan application
- #Skanpage - optimized for multi-page scans

Gibt es für #linux (konkret #tuxedoos mit #kde ) ein Scanprogramm, mit dem ich auch mehrere Seiten in ein PDF scannen kann? Mit dem Boardmittel #skanlite bekomme ich das nicht auf die Reihe 🤔

Estuve mucho tiempo utilizando #Skanlite para escanear tareas porque ni siquiera sabía que existía #Skanpage

Utilise-t-on encore des scanneurs de nos jours. Je dois envoyer par mail un document mais j'ai toujours des soucis. Le scanner a toujours été un point faible linux. J'ai une kubuntu 16.04 et j'utilise #skanlite mais quand je fait une sélection de la zone A4 il me coupe et j'ai uniquement le haut de la fenêtre. Finalement je fais une photo du document.
