As you read this, Shell is threatening to sue Greenpeace for a staggering $1.7 million dollars because they dared to challenge their reckless oil expansion plans. This is outrageous. Peaceful protest is not a crime!

bedastI learned something interesting today: Shell Energy bought Volta sometime last year.
What prompted me to learn this is the Volta charger I’d been using on the weekends for free charging are now Shell branded.
Shell Energy claims to be 100% renewable, but they operate entirely on RECs.
At least the charger is still free, I guess.

They've always been OK for me, but I resented paying out to a company that is part of a conglomorate that drives #ClimateChange with their #FossilFuels and #Oil, and makes vast #Profits too.
