#SeriesGuide's layout looks straightforward enough, but I'm not a huge fan of locking very basic features behind a paywall.

Cloud storage and syncing, notifications, lists and multiple watch times are all premium features and lifetime is 24,99 €. Lifetime is also hidden behind another extra button called 'x pass'.

I cannot choose to change my app language. Enabling the 'hide spoilers' feature also hides episode titles.

So I've downloaded several apps to replace SeriesFad: #SeriesGuide, #Hobi, #Simkl Lists and #Showly.

First thing I noticed is that none of these apps offer full functionality without premium. For SeriesFad lifetime premium I paid 2,49 € in 2016 and from what I remember it was simply to remove the ads. I might not remember correctly, but all other features were free. Of course, I loved the app and had used it for over 3 years at this point, so I gladly paid.

@madmurdoc #SeriesGuide lässt sich an #TraktTV beispielsweise koppeln. Ich hab die Version aus dem #FDroid Repo. Und wenn man du Filme eventuell auch mit nebenbei tracken willst geht das auch. Kannst auch sogar die Sprache individuell pro Serie, Folge und Filme konfigurieren falls du mal was in OV schaust oder so.
