I revived my Last.fm & updated my Trakt.tv because little is more enjoyable to me than having a list of almost everything I've listened to or watched (or read, see LibraryThing) and having it categorized for me. It was a lot of fun listening to my 2010 music faves, too.
Here's me. Connect if you're there, because my second favorite thing is seeing all this data for everyone else.

### Goodbye Hide, Hello #Drop
The much requested drop feature is finally here! For users who want to remove items from Up Next, Progress, and Calendars without losing their watched history, the hide feature has been available for some time. We’ve now streamlined the process, making it easier to drop shows across the #Trakt website, Trakt Lite, and our mobile apps.

More issues with trakt. I'm using an app to keep track of films and tv episodes I've watched and which I have in my collection. Lately it's been giving me an error saying that the list is full, like it says I own too many DVDs. Maybe true. Turns out that the API the app uses, trakt, has overnight and without any emailing existing users, introduced a limit of 100 items you are allowed to have in your collection.
Initially they counted individual tv episodes, meaning that if you owned a box set of one tv show you may already have been over the limit. But they corrected that. Now I still have 162 shows and 182 films marked as collected (I know, I have not been keeping it complete), way more than allowed.
The solution is to pay, as free accounts have become unusable. But they have only one membership plan and it costs more than a streaming service does. 😥
This is the same service that recently was offline for several weeks because they couldn't restore backups. It's also the same service that has their 'inventory' still messed up since they switched providers for the episode data a few years ago. The same service that also doubled their subscription price recently. It's not all inspiring confidence.
