Since I've decided to rent a VPS yesterday, I figured I might as well mess around with serving my blog from it. I've never done this before so it might be an interesting experience, or so I thought.

Does anyone have advice on things to look out for? Headers I absolutely need to set, compression, caching, all that stuff?
