Made a gamble on as "as-is, not tested" (we know you tested 😉) CIB copy of #PhantasyStar2 for the #SegaGenesis. As expected, it wouldn't boot - not even a copyright notice. A few q-tips, some alcohol, and 15 minutes later... we have life!

I remember watching my uncle play this back in the day - I think it was on #SegaChannel - and being drawn in, but I never got to experience it first-hand. I'm looking forward to giving it a go 😄

I can rember fantasy star further back, had similar game play on what was called the ( internet connection cart ) sega-channel by american adelphia cable company, it would let you play games in your living room on the sega genesis without having to region mod or import games from japan over seas. #AdelphiaCableCompany #SegaChannel #JapanGamesOver56kModem
