Looking for the CENSORED (!!!!) Shareware DOS vesion of Wolfenstein 3D. It was what I played back in the day here in Germany and I can't seem to find that one. Maybe anyone here can help out or point me to the right direction?

Edit to clarify: I played a version that had the nasty crosses, whereever they appeared, replaced with plain Xes in all the graphics.

Went to the Game museum in Vienna to see some of the stuff I already have at home, but also a lot of things I don't (and never will). Good times, and they had a Jaguar on display, so bonus points for that, although if it had been set up to play Tempest 2000 or Wolf 3D or Doom, that would have been awesome!

Edit: Had the Portfolio labeled as Lynx in the description - ooopsiedaisy, I know better of course, my brain was out on vacation as well probably 🤣

I just completed #Sonic CD and I really wish I hadn't slept on it for ... 33 years. It's a fantastic platformer. All the fun of Sonic 1/2/3 but looks and sounds better. Also, the anime intro/outro are such time capsules.

It's very accessible and my kids liked it, too. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it -- especially #Sega heads.

I played on my Miyoo Mini+ and it felt great.

I decided to set up a vintage gaming console that's turning 20 this year! It had just been collecting dust in my storage, but for today's RetroGaming Day, I felt like it was appropriate to dig it back out and see if it still works!

And it did! After some touching up (and de-dusting, most importantly) it actually spun up after all these years!

I played some of its – now admittedly quite archaic – games, and contrary to what I expected from gaming hardware this simplistic, it was actually kind of fun!

It's crazy the length people had to go to back in the day just to play a video game. It uses digital video disks (DVDs) to store software. I was only a toddler at the time, so I hardly remember these times…
