Season 5, Episode 1 of the TV series ‘Madam Secretary’ has a scene where three actual former Secretaries of State sit with the fictional one and discuss the dangers of Nationalism - not the same as Patriotism - and that it is addressed in the Constitution and must to be fought against.
The episode came out in 2018.
It’s like the writers knew what would happen.
