I just wanted to say, thank you Seattle for an amazing weekend! The weather was great, we walked a million steps, ate some delicious food, drank a lot of coffee, saw some super cool things, and met some really nice people. We did not have enough time to do everything we wanted to. We’d love to come back again some time. ❤️

The husband went to a dentist appointment first thing this morning and came back with this half a dozen. He knows I like 'happy breakfasts' but c'mon I can't eat all of this. He isn't going to help because he had his teeth cleaned. 🥲

Picked up dinner from Bok A Bok Fried Chicken in the U-District tonight. I don't think I've had better fast food fried chicken.
I had dinner tonight at Dumpling The Noodle in Wallingford. Chicken and corn dumplings followed by beef lamen. A+++ would eat again.
Hattie's Hat in Ballard may trace its roots to the early 20th century, but is certainly no legacy laggard when it comes to 21st century cafe street design. "Ballard's Last Stand" is a trendsetter, along with the rest of Ballard Avenue. (Sidenote: Hattie's makes great Hollandaise for their benedicts.)

Seattle's Piroshki on 3rd (near Cherry St, not to be confused with the more well known Piroshki Piroshki chain) apparently serves Filipino food on Fridays. According to Capitol Hill Seattle, the mastermind in Piroshki on 3rd's kitchen "has also created the 'Pinoyshki,' with a garlic beef 'asado' filling, a fusion of the piroshki with a Filipino cuisine."
