Among my favorite murals and public art in Seattle is this elephant carrying an umbrella in the 1800 block of NW Dock Place in Ballard. (A real Seattle elephant, however, would simply wear a hooded rain coat and not carry an umbrella.)

"Ballard's Last Stand" is a trendsetter, along with the rest of Ballard Avenue. (Sidenote: Hattie's makes great Hollandaise for their benedicts.)
