Behold the iridescent splendour of what a kind witchy elderly neighbour lady bestowed upon me today! It's so shiny!

Her long departed love gifted this to her, in a place she can't remember, and a year she can't recall, but with a smile, she'll never forget. She wanted it to join my collection, so it would not be lost.

I never buy shells, especially not these, since the Abalone population is really struggling, but I will adopt this memory.

Have no idea what's the best way to clean them up before letting kiddo use them in play or crafts.

Any advice out there? I'm seeing mixed suggestions when I search online. Want to clean and sanitise them a bit
