we need a Schlep (look him up on youtube) but for #Scratchmitedu not just #Roblox. Instead, we keep getting more of the same shit like this:

If anything #Mastodon should be the best social place for people from #Scratchmitedu to share their projects, given that Mastodon has a large STEM community
Instead they're too busy having YouTube channels and Twitter accounts to get likes for their animations and games
I also love how the most popular YouTube video about #Scratch is about making a horror game. God forbid we make educational games that actually help people or completely original games that aren't platformers or FNAF knockoffs
fun fact: if you speak romanian in certain english language websites for kids that have a badword filter (like #scratchmitedu), you can't say the verb "porni" as in "porneşte maşina" (start the car) because the filter sees the "porn" part and automatically mutes/bans you for "profanity" even though you're speaking your own language and not saying any actual bad words
