THIS IS NOT A NEWS/POLITICS/NSFW/AUTOMATED ACCOUNT.

Romanian amateur musician and animator. I like doing remixes/mashups/parodies of existing songs. I also apparently suck at one-man marketing which is why you might not know me.
I talk mostly about #music, #Scratchmitedu, and sometimes #linux.

I don't even speak Russian but I like this song.

Bruh every time I watch this video with the volume off and reading the lyrics, I'm thinking of that song, "We didn't start the fire..." 🤣

However, Korean trot music noticeably shares a lot of similarities with 80s Russian pop music.

I like Europop better than American pop and J/K/C-pop. Both are overhyped and overrated.

The only American singer I'm able to tolerate with repetition seems to be Taylor Swift (in most cases). Everyone else I can only stand for so many plays until I get bored.

J/K/C-pop is too homogenous-sounding (with some exceptions, but even then, my attention is always elsewhere)*

Each week, I dedicate a day to randomly select a playlist (internet or locally stored) and play a random song from it (turn shuffle on), spending the morning diving into the music. I've discovered some real treasures as well as a few duds.

People who keep saying modern music is bad should give that a try. Maybe they'll find something they genuinely like.

"The Browning Announce Spring ‘Electronicore’ Tour With SWARM And THE DEFECT"

Yes, vinyl records still are and were around then and now. People (especially certain rock fans who insist their era was better) should know more about #electronicore.

I think i wanna focus more on making #Makertube videos, so i dont want to be just a scratcher. I haven't quit #Scratchmitedu but I'm starting to feel kind of limited by its algorithm especially since not a single project i put out no matter how well done it is gets any acknowledgement other than a few "ooh look at my project" comments.
I dont think #Scratch does an adequate enough job helping new and unnoticed Scratchers get acknowledged at all. I feel like they're too busy with other things.
everything good i geniunely actually like is either being wiped away, discontinued, shut down, enshitified, no longer exists, apparently problematic, etc etc etc....
