Mirkwood Book Nook.

To display the Mithril-Miniatures figures of Elrond and Thranduil I built a book-nook.

Scratchbuilt trees and some elven architecture.

Built the box first, with planning for the interior. Then built and painted the two halves before closing them together.

The tops of the trees and the top of the Elven architecture were built the same, I just painted the structure in grey to show that it's constructed.

Elrond visits Thranduil at his tree-inspired abode.

I also installed a LED at the back of the Mirkwood Book Nook.

So there is a mysterious light deeper into the wood, it's probably elves... probably.
