“Suddenly, he seemed to be in another world.” #roadsidepicnic #scifimonth
As if November didn't have enough reading events on the go, I discovered at a late stage that it was also Sci Fi Month!! Now, I don't read *huge* amounts of that genre, but I do like classic or offbeat science fiction and I did have several options in the stacks which I could possibly read for this event.
Somehow, we're halfway through November and while Palpatine has (thankfully) not returned our #ScifiMonth Mission Logs have! Come find out what the crew have been up to and check out their reviews and recommendations.
This year's #ScifiMonth read-along is Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie. I'm excited to revisit the Imperial Radch - this week, we're discussing the first 6 chapters
It's all about travelling in this week's #ScifiMonth Friday Five - and not getting where we're going, in my picks. I've picked five favourite books where the destination is just an excuse for a damn good personal journey.

Happy Hallowe'en - time for the traditional month-end reading round up as I say farewell #SpooktasticReads and prepare for #ScifiMonth!
It's October, which means it's only 30 more days until #ScifiMonth! Yes, our annual love-in of all things SFnal will be back - we're disorganised and may forget to pack our socks, but we're excited to blast off on November 1. Will you join us?

November came and went far too fast - I'm taking one last look back at the #ScifiMonth crew's adventures this year
