I just used this over 100 year old saw to cut two sleepers (100mm×200mm) down.

I was surprised at how fast it tore through them. My more modern saw could not match it.

Obviously not for fine work, but, for rough it's phenomenal.

It wasn't even sharpend as you can see, it's in it's original state as I found it in an old hut.

I believe it was made between 1880 and 1920.

It's a beautiful sunny day in the #catskills. I decided to clear out more of the fallen tree. I'm getting better and better at #sawing and #axing the #wood. It took me about 3 hours with breaks to #saw this pile of wood. And this doesn't even include the few pieces I axed before taking the picture
